David McIntosh, Owner/President
David’s broad background and technical expertise are perfectly suited to serving the customers of Boulder Phone. He holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from CU-Boulder, comes from 22 years in telecommunications industry (most recently CableLabs), and has written many technical articles for industry publications. In the corporate world, he gained a broad range of technical, marketing, management, and sales experience that serves him well today. When not minding the shop, David’s enthusiasms include Rockies baseball, music, his children, and KGNU-FM. He has lived in Colorado since 1976. You can count on him for a good joke--or at least one you hadn’t heard. David was a state gymnastics champ in high school.

Brent Vandiver, Senior Technician
The unflappable Brent Vandiver has survived a serious (non-job-related) explosion and 11 years as a boxer. He has 11 years of craft experience in Colorado and Tennessee (The last eight with Boulder Phone Installers) and is a Certified Vodavi Installer. He does his job extremely well and plays golf poorly but with brio.

Dave Armstrong, Technician
With a diverse telecom background, Dave Armstrong strengthens the tech ranks with experience in a variety of phone systems but also sales engineering and project management. Dave has spent time with USWest and AT&T. An avid runner, he has run up and down most of the Flatirons, not to mention nearly every trail in Boulder County.

Kay Anderson, Bookkeeper
The calm and collected Kay Anderson keeps the wheels on the bus at Boulder Phone. Her experience is broad and deep with various positions at businesses in and around Boulder.

Paula Gill, Office Manager
Paula has returned to the telecommunications industry, after some family time, with seventeen years of experience with Nynex (now Verizon). She has transferred that knowledge to the smile and the voice of Boulder Phone for technician dispatch, accounts receivable, and all round office management. Her son, in August 2005, was in the In-line Hockey Finals at the Junior Olympics in New Orleans, LA.
